Onak’s groove

Hey

Oh yeah

All of you are invited here tonight

Have some beer, dance under neon lights

Listen to the groove that keeps you movin on

Keeps you movin on, Keeps you movin on, Keeps you movin on

Huh!

Hey dear lady wanna have some fun

There’s no room to see for the sun

The gang is here to get you stoned

Pump up the bass that keeps you grooving on

Keeps you grooving on, 3X

Yeah!

Coz we are here for you all night long….

Listen to the squeals of this guitar

Banging off the drums takes you away so far

Look into my eyes as you hear me scream

This band’s gonna rock you now

gonna rock you now, gonna rock you now, gonna rock you now

yeah!

Let me make you sway…..

AYAM

Call out the arms

Marching the squads

Waving the flag

Hopes are on high

Under the sun

Stands up the grass

Kick off just started

Battling down on the dirt

CHORUS

Go on forward

Show no remorse

This pact is forever

Better or worse..

Blood and sweat and tears

Falling down the earth

Getting up for the glory

Fighting out for what is worth

Canines gnashing their teeth

Hunger and thirst from it all

No matter what’s at stake

Still going out for the goal

Go on forward

Show no remorse

This pact is forever

Better or worse

It doesn’t matter now

All this pain goes away

It does matter now

All of the things they say

It doesn’t matter now

Our flag will wave

It doesn’t matter now

From cradle to grave

We

Go on forward

Show no remorse

This pact is forever

Better or worse..

Batingaw

music and words by: Jules Fred C. Batisla-ong

Kampana…

Na naririnig ko

Gumigising

Sa mga taong tulog

Humanda  na

Sa kanyang pagdating

Di mo namalayan

Di mo napansing…

Pasko na pala

Pasko na pala

Kampana

Na umaalingawngaw

Sa umaga

Laging sinisigaw

maghanda ka na

maghanda ka na

maghanda ka na

maghanda ka na

maghanda ka na

Lahat ng tao’y

Nasa kalye

Di mapakaling namimili

Ng regalo

para kay lola at lolo

busying busy na si ate

kakabalot para sa party

nakasabit na ang mejas ni bunsong

naghihintay

kampana

na naririnig ko

pag simbang gabi

tayo na sa kalye

halina’t lasapin

malamig na simoy ng hangin

maghanda ka na

maghanda ka na

pasko na pala

kay bilis ng panahon

parang kahapon lang ako

naghanda ng hamon

pasko na pala

inaabangan taon taon

tama na ang gulo

lahat ay uminahon

pasko na pala

pasko na pala

hanggang ngayon wala ka pa

Clock that ticks

By Jules Fred C. Batisla-ong

Another time, Another year
The ones that are new becomes old
Forgetting the past I used to fear
By walking this land filled with gold

I can see the horizon
I became a man in this age of reason
conquering thoughts that bothers me
drove it away across the sea

Sometimes I ask myself
Is my time running out?
When will be the time to shout for help?
when no one hears your screams and shouts

Its the clock that ticks every minute of the day
out the streets where kids used to play
I guess Im old enough to hear them say
Must act now before I forget to pray

An Ode to a Hardworking Mother

By: Jules Fred C. Batisla-ong

I may have friends who’s always there for me
And makes me smile every time I’m hurt
But at the end of the day there’ll be no one around
It was only you keeping me close to the heart

I may have enemies that are closer to me
Breaking me down and tearing me apart
But there’s one place that I know I ‘m safe
It’s your mantle of protection that kept me away from harm

I may have girlfriends who made me laugh
Made me cry and broke my heart
But there’s person who’d love me more
And that is you mother what more could I ask for

And to this day, no one can fathom
The love, the sacrifice and the entire burden
And even though sometimes I forgot to thank you
But deep within me I do love you

What completes the day?

By: Jules Fred C. Batisla-ong

It’s really amazing how you dazzled me
Coz I can feel your charm across the sea
And even though I never got to know
Your sweetest smile always shines and glows

If only God would give me time
To talk to you while drinking wine
To know you better in such a way
That’ll be a reason to complete my day

You’re such an inspiration to me you see
To know you more is a blessing to me
This bitterness suddenly fades away
One reason that completes my day

Every time I feel so down and out
Just a thought of you there’ll be no doubt
All these emptiness will be filled again
There’ll be no reason to pretend
